What is the procedure when visiting the Rope Forest Park?
When the weather is uncertain, we ask you to take a look at our website to see if the forest rope park is open. After that, no reservation or advance notice is required. Just come by, start with the security training and commence your climbing experience!
Groups of 15 persons and more can pre-register at office[at]waldseilpark.at and receive the group discount of € 3,-/person.
Do I have to pay if I am not going to climb?
No. Please note, however, that children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult - accompanying others without a safety belt/without climbing actively in the Forest Rope Park is not enough!
When climbing with children what in particular should I pay attention to?
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an actively climbing person.
Children under 16 years who do not climb with a parent or guardian, but with acquaintances, for example, need a letter of consent from their parents. The forms are available to download here.
When children are also climbing, the following supervision ratios must be observed:
Children 110cm to 130cm 1 child : 1 adult
Children 130cm to 150cm 3 children : 1 adult
Children up to 14 years 5 children : 1 adult
Children over 14 may climb alone but still require a letter of consent form their parents.
May I bring my own climbing equipment?
No, for safety reasons this is not possible. Only belts exclusively tested and issued by us must be worn.
What sort of clothing must I wear?
Sturdy shoes and comfortable clothings. Absolutely no skirts.
What do I do if I am afraid of heights?
Anxious people may conquer different heights at a slower pace, starting with the lower ones at 3.5m. There is also the possibility to book a personal guide for € 45,-/hour. To book a guide, we ask you to make a reservation at
What is a flying fox?
This refers to a so-called cable slide. By means of pulleys the flying fox slips down on a hanging steel rope and gives you the sensation of flying!

Can I smoke in the park?
No, the Rope Forest Park is a strict non-smoking area!
What do I do in the case of bad weather?
Please take a look at our website (will be announced on the front page), if we are open. As a rule: a little rain or wind does not prevent the park from opening.
Is there a minimum age?
There is no minimum age but a minimum height of 110cm, so there is no trouble hanging into the course.
Do I need previous experience in order to climb?
No, the Rope Forest Park is suitable both for beginners and advanced climbers.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, body weight should not exceed 120kg.
Can I bring my dog along?
Yes, but dogs must be kept on the leash.
